What is a Joint Dislocation?


A joint dislocation happens when there is an irregular separation in the joint where two or more joints meet together.  Dislocations occur when extreme force (sudden impact or a fall) is put on a ligament allowing the bones to become disconnected.  The most common joint dislocations occur in the shoulder but the knees, hips, fingers, toes etc. are at risk too!

Signs and Symptoms –

  • Extreme Pain
  • Discoloration
  • Deformity of the joint

Yard Sale @ Blue Ridge Orthopaedic and Spine Center!



Kappa Upsilon Warrenton a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will host a yard sale on Saturday May 25th at Blue Ridge Orthopaedic and Spine Center beginning at 8 am until 12 Noon.  Kappa Upsilon Sorority is focused on raising money for local charities.  Much of the money raised at this year’s yard sale will go to such organizations as Relay for Life, Fauquier Hospital Children’s Department, and local food banks.  We are committed to helping our neighbors and local community with our time, energy and monetary donations.  Please stop by and check out our great deals that we  will have.  Also ask a sister about how you can make a difference in your local community as well.
