To help put ‘burning 100 calories’ into perspective think about everyday activities that you do, with every activity you are burning calories. From everyday activities like chores around the house, to exercises at the gym you can burn 100 calories in just a few minutes during your day. It is important to remember that you must be working at 60-80% of your maximum heart rate in order to classify an activity as a cardio ‘exercise’.
